QUECTEL launches MC60E GSM/GPRS/GNSS module

MC60E is a quad-band GSM/GPRS/GNSS combo module based on MT2503DV/EB platform which is the combination of GNSS platform MT3333 and GSM/GPRS platform MT6261 and integrated BLE and BT3.0 protocols. Samples, EVB kits and TE-A kits are all available now.

MC60E is pin-to-pin compatible with MC60, offering an ultra compact size of only 18.7mm × 16.0mm × 2.1mm. Integrating a built-in LNA, it has exceptional performance both in acquisition and tracking even in weak signal areas. MC60E supports EPO function which is a kind of offline AGPS allowing for automatic EPO data downloading and updating. Based on EPO data, QuecFastFix Online function further improves TTFF to 4.5s in cold start.

MC60E supports both BT3.0 and BT4.0. BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology features ultra-low peak, average and idle mode power consumption, making MC60E especially ideal for applications requiring energy efficient Bluetooth wireless connectivity. Additionally, it integrates GNSS technology for satellite navigation, and features Dual SIM Single Standby function. All these make MC60E a perfect solution for a broad range of M2M applications such as wearable devices, vehicle tracking, personnel tracking, pet tracking, etc.
